We started Mythbusters from the top last night, or at least the first disc available on netflix. I had seen one of the episodes already, which was fun.

We are on season 4 of MST3k, having made it through Gamera, and rock climbing. Thursday night was the sandstorm!

    Harvester
Those clever people at Zombie Tools have given us a glimpse of their latest sword - a kind of post industrial Katana called The Harvester. Those guys would be handy to have around in any disaster that called for, you know, swords and stuff.

Say hello to Piglet and Sylar, two foster rats who are going to be staying on with us. Welcome home boys!

I’ve been reading out the City-burners and the Bronze Age Collapse, when the Mycenaean Palatial civilization fell and the Greek Dark ages began. It is a fascinating topic, and we know so little about it. It was certainly skipped over  when I was in school! But over the course of one generation, an entire way of life in a dozen nations changed completely, and almost all the major cities of those nations were burned to the ground. And no one really knows who did it, or why.
You can start reading about it here
But be warned, looking into this  will lead you an a wild tour through wikipedia.

I love David Boreanaz in this Dido White Flag video. I don’t watch videos anymore so I saw it for the first time yesterday!
